Just a few steps separate the "Ponte delle Bele" trattoria from Porta Castello, one of the ancient entrance gates of the thirteenth-century walls of the historic center of Vicenza.
The small wooden entrance gives no indication of this characteristic place where the tranquility of the atmosphere blends with the quality of the cuisine.
In the three rooms furnished in an almost Tyrolean style, delicious traditional Vicenza dishes are served (the classic bigoli and the legendary cod) and Trentino and Tyrolean specialties (spatzle, canederli, goulash, game and mushrooms) without forgetting the fabulous desserts (all strictly homemade) and to round off the meal in style, the special liqueurs (over 60 types of aromatic and flavored grappas).
All this, combined with the friendliness and courtesy of the managers and staff, makes it a truly unforgettable experience. that the occasional passing customer always becomes a regular customer, also taking advantage of the quality/price ratio that encourages them to plan another visit soon.

In our restaurant you can find many unique dishes and many excellent products that we have selected for you over these thirty years of work.
Over time, we have added various traditional dishes from the Vicenza and Veneto regions to our classic Trentino-Tyrolean dishes, using seasonal vegetables and local produce. We follow the changing seasons, adding white asparagus from Bassano, red radicchio from Treviso and Asigliano, peas from Lumignano, sopressa from Valli del Pasubio, broccoli from Creazzo, quail from Malo, Asiago cheese from Asiago, and Vezzena, not to mention the legendary, spicy Posina, and so on.
From our legendary Baccalà alla Vicentina with polenta from the Consorzio Mais Marano to the classic oven-baked pork shank served with Tyrolean-style roasted potatoes, our lean beef goulash cooked with onion, paprika, chili pepper, and red wine, and our veal meatballs with thyme and marjoram, a must-try for thirty years.
The black truffle from Berici Hills is the star of an entire menu offered in individual dishes, including egg à l'eye with truffle, fettuccine, diced beef, beef fillet or veal escalope, carpaccio, and even a dessert.
